1st time swingin'!!
Thank you Cam for letting Griffin use your swing! Sorry for me nagging Bri at the end of the video...oops! Haha!
1st Halloweenie!
Our 1st Halloween with Griffin was perfect! The neighborhood was PACKED full with kids all dressed up! Griffin loved sitting on the front lawn while watching all the kiddos pass by! The neighbors gathered on our front porch, we combined all of our candy, and we handed it out together. We <3 our neighbors!
Griffin is 7 Months Old!

Ok...Month 6 FLEW by! I can't believe how much different Griffin is this month! He is eating me out of house & home. We have started to feed him more and more table food. So he'll get the usual bottle and pureed food...but he also gets cheese, turkey, little bites of homemade waffles, carrots, peas...he loves it all :-) We were shocked to find out that he only weighed 21.7 pounds! We thought, for sure, he would weigh AT LEAST 23 pounds. He was also 28.5 inches long :-) Our little basketball player! Also, we have FOUR teeth! It felt like it took forever for the top 2 teeth to break thru...but they are here! This month we went to some pumpkin patches, visited our friends in North Ga, and took a trip down to Gainesville to visit The Latsko's!! We are loving the fact that a bunch of our friends have little babies too! Griffin LOVES to be around kids. Hopefully by next month...we will have a crawler!! He has officially transitioned from sitting to tummy in one quick movement...so we'll see!!

Griffin Andrew is 5 Month's Old!

Oops! Almost forgot the Rolling Over Video!!
Ok, so this video is HORRIBLE quality b/c it was dark in the living room and also, I had to start taping from a different view b/c once Griffin sees the camera he'll stop doing whatever it was that you were trying to get on tape!! Anyway, this happened a week or so before he turned 5 months old...and FINALLY he rolls from his tummy to his back :-)
Mama...it's TOO early!
I went in one morning to get Griffin b/c he was making his usual talking sounds. I think it was unusually dark outside, so I turned the lamp on and it took him a little while for his eyes to adjust!

Drivin' & Eatin'
How to entertain a baby on a 4 hour drive?? Feed him!! For those Mama's who are giving their babies purees, you may know "Ella's Foods" that come in the pouches! Griffin is obsessed with them!! Especially the organic Sweet Potatoes, Bluberries, and Apple mixture. Yum Yum! I just thought it was cute how he kept opening his mouth for more. He doesn't usually do that :-)
I LOVE my Mobile!
Since we have moved, Griffin FINALLY has his own room, complete with his own crib AND awesome mobile...which he loves. At first, he could stare at that thing for an hour. Now, he still stares at it...while trying to grab the turtles. We are enjoying these little moments :-)
1st time Eating Apples!
Apples are my FAVE!! Now Mommy makes them herself...with a touch of cinnamon. YUM!

Beach Week!
Every year for my birthday we spend a week in Daytona Beach at our time share. I was especially looking forward to this year b/c we had Griffin to enjoy it with. As you all saw from my Florida pics, we wasted no time getting Griffin into the pool and the ocean. This week was no exception! In fact, on one of the days we were there, we took the tailgate tent down to the beach with food, drinks, toys, and of course, bottles!! Griffin ended up taking over a 2 hour nap on a blanket in the sand. I think we have a little beach babe on our hands :-)
Bye-Bye San Diego!
So the last days leading up to us leaving San Diego were a little bittersweet! We were trying to hit all of our favorite places, like, The Midway, Cafe Coyote, Phil's BBQ, and Mission Beach before leaving. It's hard to believe that we spent almost 2 years in San Diego and we up and left in less than a month. We grew to love our little shoe box apartment (and by we, I mean Bri). San Diego was our first home as a married couple and we took advantage of the awesomeness of the city! We went hiking on Mt. San Jacinto, skiing in Big Bear, wine tasting in Napa (thanks to the family living there), Chargers games, Padres games, Skydiving, the list is really endless. We can forever talk about how nice the weather is and how many fun things there is to do, but when it all comes down to it, the people we met and became friends with is what I will miss the most. Most of you know that I left Florida, kicking and screaming, but our San Diego "family" made me truly love living out there. So to all of you, thank you. Thank you for making me (the stubborn one) open my eyes to the beautiful city of San Diego. I can honestly say that IF we ever have to move back there...I will gladly accept it...with a smile :-) So here is a little tribute to our time in San Diego. (The slide show is in order :-))

4th of July!
Kori, Caleb (3) and Cayden (7 months)

So I forgot my 4th of July post!! This was one of our last weekends in San Diego. We spent the 4th at Kori's house! This is always an important holiday for us. Kori's hubby is a Marine and is currently deployed. We had a great time with great people. Good food! Good Drinks!
Griffin Andrew~4 Months Old!
The usual aftermath of a feeding!
Look how BIG my feets are!!!

I never thought 4 months old could be SO exciting! First of all, being that Griffin is SO big, I was ridiculously excited to start him on baby food. He turned 16 weeks when we were on our family vacay in Daytona Beach and I had to wait until Brian arrived (he came late b/c he was driving our moving truck across country :-/) Anyhoo...Griffin, like I thought he would, took to food pretty fast. I mean, he literally would stare Bri and I down when we would eat our food...so I knew it was time! Griffin also goes to sleep every night on his tummy...and wakes up on his back. So, the rolling over is happening, we are just missing it on camera :-( Bri has seen him roll over 3 times. Of course, the stay at home Mom hasn't seen it once!!! Maybe I'll have that video by next month. Hehe. He is loving exploring his new toys on his exersaucer and jumper seat. I thought it took him awhile to put weight on his legs, but sure enough, he can do it! Also, a big achievement, holding toys!! I'm sure that seems silly to all you professional Moms out there, haha. But I tell you what, being able to hand him a toy in his carseat and not having to pick it up as soon as it's in his hands is amazing!! Here are some pics...Happy 4 Months sweet little boy!!

Lookin' at Myself!
We figured out that Griffin may recognize himself in the mirror! Or else he's just super excited to see another tiny human, just like himself!

~Beach Bum~
Congrats to my Auntie Kel and Uncle Davey!
Squeals and Smiles :-)
I captured this video of Brian making Griffin Squeal and Smile!! Enjoy what we get to see everyday! It never gets old!!
My super cute niece!
Ok...so I have to give a shout out to my 2 year old niece, Emma. I took this Flip Video of her when we were on Skype. She starts off the video by calling me Nena, then PawPaw, then calls me Bri over and over again...until she gets to Sassy (my nickname for all of our nephews and niece). Her Daddy has been calling her Emma Boobs McGee Hurley since the day she was born (I have no idea why...probably the same reason why I call Griffin my "boo-boo.") I swear if people knew or saw half the silly things I said to Griffin during the day, they'd think I'm crazy! Anyway...she repeats her "name" in the video...then sings us a special song!! With the help of her Mama, of course! Enjoy the cuteness!
3 Months Old!

I can't believe that Griffin is already 13 weeks old!! It is amazing the milestones we see him reach every day. He is officially a smiler...even though you still have to work hard at getting them, they are WELL worth the effort :-) He is chatting up a storm and is starting to mimic the sounds we make. He has two new favorite stuffed friends named Finny and Douglas and he spends most of the day lying on the living room floor playing with them. He also has officially found his hands and seems awfully curious about his footsies, but hasn't quite discovered them yet! And for all of you wondering what size clothes he's in b/c he is such a BIG boy...he's now in 6 month clothes! It felt like he was in 3 month clothes for a day. Time is flying by...but it sure is FUN!!

2 Month Shots!
Only b/c we are mean parents, we decided to flip video Griffin's first set of shots! Here it is for your enjoyment :-)
2 Months Old!

Griffin was 8 weeks old as of May 25th! We can't believe how many new things he can do...even though they are just itty bitty milestones! Thanks to the wonderful McCoy's, Griffin has enjoyed sitting in his borrowed bouncy seat from his friend Mason! His eyesight must be great b/c he follows us with his eyes wherever we go. He has recently just started reaching for objects if we put them close to his face, even though he isn't quite grab at the objects yet. If we start to make noise and we aren't in his plain view, he looks around for where we are. And...best of all, we get at least a smile a day from our serious little dude! Which melts our heart more and more each time we see his tiny little dimples, which are oddly located in the upper corners of his mouth! Happy 2 Months Baby Griffin <3

Anything to keep him on schedule!!!
Since Griffin has turned 6 weeks old we have really been trying to keep him on a 3 hour feeding schedule. Well...when the 7 o'clock hour hits he starts to have mini-meltdowns b/c he's hungry AND tired. So how do we keep him happy? We do what every smart parent does...we turn on inappropriate rap music and have Daddy dance in front of him. Hey, if it works, right?
Bath Time :-)
Griffin is in LOVE with bath time! He can literally be starving, have a poopy diaper, it be 2 hours past his bed time...and nothing will calm him down more than the bath! He's definitely our little water baby! Definitely going to get him into baby swim lessons!

Working Hard for a Smile!!
Griffin is a serious little dude...so getting him to smile has been tough! He pretty much has to have a full tummy and a clean diaper to get even an itty bitty grin...but it's not for lack of effort (or me sounding silly on camera) on my part!
Visiting with Emma and Easton
I went to Tennessee in April to visit for Easton's 1st Birthday. Here is a video of Emma lovin' up on Griffin and Easton...just being Easton!

Meeting Mom for the first time :-)
After a long labor process, I was a little relieved when the decision to have C-Section was made! I felt confident and comfortable with my team of nurses and my doctor was fantastic. The moment that Griffin was born was not lacking a single bit of emotion and the second I saw him was something I will never forget, but it still took over an hour until I was able to hold my little boy. Brian, already taking on his role as "Dad," was there with the Flip Video to capture the moment that I held him for the first time. And for that I am forever grateful!
Griffin Andrew Walsh has Arrived!
Griffin's Blog
Since a few close friends have started blogs for their own little one's, we thought it would be fun to start one for Griffin! As most of you know, I post plenty of updated pictures of Griffin on Facebook, but I thought this would be a fun place to post more personal pictures and videos :-) We hope you enjoy!

Sara
